How will you get from point A to point B?  A)  Close your eyes and point to a map.
    B)  Follow David's directions.  C)  Plot your course with the assistance of this page.
You know what they say - when in doubt, pick "C".  After all, if you pick B, you will
most likely end up in Alabama.
Both hotels provide pages with directions from the three DC area airports.  In addition, they provide links to sites where you can
type in your address and get exact directions.  To access these pages, click on the name of the hotel you will be staying at below.

    Georgetown University Conference Hotel
    3800 Reservoir Road, NW
    Washington, DC

    Hotel Washington
    515 15th Street, NW
    Washington, DC
    From Georgetown University Conference Hotel
The best way to get to the chapel from the hotel is to walk.  Ask the concierge or any student to point you in the right direction.
If you don't want to walk, you can also take a cab from the main entrance to the chapel.

    From Hotel Washington
Take 15th Street, NW North towards I Street, NW.  Turn left on I Street, NW.  Turn slight right on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.
Proceed through one roundabout, staying on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.  Pennsylvania Avenue, NW eventually merges with M
Street, NW where the street veers slightly left.  Continue through Georgetown and past the Key Bridge.  You will see an Exxon
gas station on your right.  Just a bit past the Exxon Station you will see an entrance to Georgetown on your right.  Go up the
entrance road and quickly take a right into the Southwest parking garage.  Parking is free.

Upon exiting the garage head east towards the hill and the Healy clock tower.  When you've made it almost all the way to the
clock tower, so that you are looking straight up at the clock face, you should be there.  If you don't see a chapel, you may be in
the other side of the building.  If this is the case, just walk through the doors in front of you, through the building and into the
courtyard.  If all else fails, ask any student and they will point you in the right direction.
If you opt not to take the trolley and drive, exit the Georgetown University parking lot using the Prospect Street exit.  Proceed on
Prospect Street, NW for several blocks.  Take a right on 34th Street, NW.  Take a left onto M Street, NW.  After a half a mile,
M Street becomes Pennsylvania Avenue, NW (stay right).  Pass through one roundabout, staying on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.
Take a right on 17th Street, NW.  Memorial Continental Hall (DAR) is located on 17th Street, NW between C and D Streets,
NW.  Your best bet for parking is to turn down C Street, NW and if you have no luck there, to return up to D Street, NW.
    From Northern Virginia
Go north on I-395 and take Southwest-Southeast Expressway to Pennsylvania Avenue exit.  Get into left lane as you cross the
bridge.  Go left at first light onto Kennelworth Avenue, northbound.  Take exit for US Route 50 east towards Annapolis.  If you
are farther out, take I-95/495 to the east of Washington and exit for US 50.  Once you are on US 50, follow the directions from
    Washington or the Maryland suburbs.

    From the Reception Site
From the area of the reception and Hotel Washington, take Constitution Avenue, NW eastbound.  Just after the Senate office
buildings, bare left onto Maryland Avenue, NE.  Go left at the end of Stanton Park onto 6th Street, NE, then right after the
church back onto Maryland Avenue, NE.  At the large intersection just past 15th Street,NE (see a big CVS store across the way)
turn half left onto Bladensburg Road.  Go a few miles to a very large intersection with New York Avenue (RT 50).  There are
two Exxon stations on diagonal corners from each other.  Turn right.  After two miles, take the right fork to stay on Rt 50
towards Annapolis and follow the next set of directions.

From Washington or the Maryland Suburbs
Take US Route 50 eastward about 25 miles to exit 22 (Aris Allen Blvd/Riva Road/Rt.665).  Stay on Rt 665, being careful not to
exit left back onto Rt 50 or right onto Riva Road a little further along.  Rt 665 changes names from Aris Allen Blvd to Forest
Drive to Bay Ridge Road – but it is all the same road.  After about seven miles you will pass through two brick posts into Bay
Ridge community and the road changes name to Farragut Road.  In one mile, go left where you must do so onto Bay Drive.
After a few blocks the road turns left and becomes River Drive.  Go to 56 River Drive.
If you need them, we will provide you maps to all three area airports as well as all major highways at the event.  See you there!

    To Georgetown University Conference Center
If you don't take the bus, starting on 17th and C Streets, NW, go north towards D Street, NW.  Take a left onto G Street, NW.
Turn right onto 18th Street, NW.  Turn left on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.  Go through one roundabout.  Turn slight left onto
M Street, NW.  Turn right onto Wisconsin Avenue, NW.  Turn left at Volta Place, NW.  Turn right onto 35th Street, NW.  Turn
left onto Reservoir Road, NW.  Turn right into Entrance #1 of Georgetown University Hospital. Follow the road straight back, it
will dead-end into a parking garage. This is the Leavey Center Building. Enter the parking garage and turn right. In front of you
will be the door to the Conference Center Elevator. If you need to drive directly to the Conference Center Entrance, you will
need to turn right before you enter the parking garage.
